Andr (an-der) started composing music during her student days, using the guitar as her main instrument and incorporating sounds sampled from her surroundings. This gradually shaped her unique style as a bedroom musician. In 2022, she was discovered during a campus songwriting competition by three renowned Taiwanese music producers: Howe Chen, Kain Han, and Ziya Huang. Andr was signed to their label, Fortune Coookie Records, becoming the label’s first artist.

The following year, Andr released her debut single, “Night Lotion「融」”, which quickly gained attention in Taiwan. Thanks to this song, she was selected for Spotify's annual emerging artist promotion program, “Best of Radar 2023”. She also received the “Jury Recommendation Award” at the prominent “StreetVoice Awards”, which highlights annual music trends. In 2024, she was nominated as “Best New Artist” at 15th Golden Indie Music Awards.

In early 2024, Andr collaborated with Thai synth-pop singer mindfreakkk to release the cross-border friendship song “Swapping Socks”. This single crossed oceans and was included in playlists across Asia, showcasing Andr's potential for growth throughout the region. The two also collaborated on YouTube for a live performance in “The Bear Cave (Special Live Session)”, where the rarely-seen Andr showcased her captivating stage presence. Her naturally playful energy perfectly aligns with her music style.

Andr's music is based on alternative music, blending Indie Pop, Alternative R&B, and Indie Rock. Her soulful voice combined with her unconventional songwriting and arrangements results in unique and intriguing works.

Andr’s debut album ”shhh, it’s under my bed” will be released on October 25th.
